What is CHAINFREE?

Chainfree^TM  is a way to raise awareness as to the use of slave and specifically child slave labour in the chocolate industry.

It has stated aims primarily to raise awareness in chocolate consumers and encourage them to question chocolate producers who in turn question their suppliers encouraging them to do something about the problem of slavery in chocolate.

Also to offer a guaranteed alternative for consumers, by way of the 'CHAINFREE' logo, to make an educated choice as to where the chocolate in their bar comes from

Roar chocolate is proud to be part of this organisation from its outset and invites other chocolate makers and chocolatiers to join it to eliminate slavery in our industry
